Bayern Munich confirmed Jamal Musiala has undergone minor, routine surgery after returning from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to Yahoo Sports. The club said the procedure was part of standard medical protocol following a serious injury last summer and had been scheduled for after the tournament in North America.
Musiala started three of Germany’s four World Cup matches and scored in the opening 7-1 win against Curaçao. Germany were eliminated in the last 32 by Paraguay after a 5-4 penalty shootout loss.
