Societe Generale analysts said the U.S. dollar could rise further, supported by a strong growth outlook.

According to Jin10, the analysts wrote in a report that the dollar’s strength was expected to continue through the second half of 2026.

They said the United States was currently the only G10 economy whose average growth expectations for this year were higher than they were at the start of the year.

The analysts added that if U.S. growth was fast enough to keep inflation above target, even U.S. President Donald Trump would not be able to argue for interest-rate cuts.

Societe Generale forecast that by year-end the U.S. dollar index would rise to 103.6, while the euro would fall to 1.11 against the dollar.
