South Korea Gasoline Average Falls Below 1,900 Won per Liter for First Time Since March 31

South Korea's average retail gasoline price fell below 1,900 won per liter again after about three months, amid stabilizing international crude prices and the rollout of the country's seventh-phase fuel price linkage mechanism, according to 36Kr. Data from Korea National Oil Corp.'s Opinet platform on July 6 showed the nationwide average gasoline price was 1,898.3 won per liter as of 12:00 p.m., down 4.5 won from 1,902.8 won the previous day. The last time the national average dropped below 1,900 won was March 31, when it stood at 1,895 won. Average diesel prices also declined, with the nationwide average at 1,886.1 won per liter over the same period.
