South Korea's initial public offering market has cooled sharply, with most newly listed companies trading below their IPO prices, according to Korea Exchange data.
According to NS3.AI, 14 of the 18 companies that have listed this year are trading under their offer prices.
Analysts attributed the weak post-listing performance to IPO valuations being set too high and to short-term speculative funds exiting soon after listings.
