Garrett Jin (0x92e...50e9) increased his ZEC short position about one hour ago after initially opening the short nine days earlier. According to Odaily, on-chain analyst Yu Jin said Jin now holds a ZEC short position valued at $15.08 million, with an average entry price of $444 and an unrealized loss of $530,000.
Yu Jin said Jin’s previous two ZEC trades were profitable. In late May, Jin opened a ZEC short position valued at $36 million at an entry price of $626 and closed it in early June after a ZEC vulnerability incident, recording a profit of $11.24 million.
Yu Jin added that Jin later opened a ZEC long position valued at $22 million at $439 and closed it at $447, making a profit of $420,000.
Separately, Yu Jin said that as BTC has risen by more than $5,000 in recent days, the unrealized loss on Jin’s BTC long position has narrowed from $23 million to $16 million.
