FTSE 100 constituent and UK clothing retailer NEXT is preparing to make a takeover offer for luxury department store Harvey Nichols, according to Ming Pao, citing a report by Sky News.
The report follows recent market talk that Hong Kong retail tycoon Dickson Poon, who holds Harvey Nichols, is considering selling his stake. Sky News said NEXT has continued acquiring a series of well-known UK high-street brands.
