Invesco’s Nasdaq Technology ETF said it will suspend secondary-market trading from the market open on July 6 and resume trading at 10:30, while redemption services will continue as normal during the halt.
According to Jin10, the fund said its recent secondary-market trading price has been significantly higher than the reference net asset value per unit, resulting in a sizable premium. It reported a July 3 closing price of 2.616 yuan, compared with a reference NAV per unit of 2.2130 yuan at the close.
The fund said the trading halt is intended to protect investors’ interests. It added that if the premium on July 6 does not effectively retreat, it has the right to take further suspension measures.
The fund said it is operating normally and that there is no major information that should be disclosed but has not been disclosed.
