The Fabric Foundation said it has officially launched the ROBO governance system, including a dedicated governance space on the Snapshot platform and a foundation security committee to oversee management and support community participation. According to Foresight News, ROBO holders can vote on Snapshot without gas fees, with voting power weighted by token holdings, and all proposals, votes, and decisions recorded publicly.

The foundation outlined a governance process that includes an initial assessment, community discussion, a five-day Snapshot vote, council review, and a final published decision. It said the council is also responsible for mitigating risks such as vote-buying and Sybil attacks.

The foundation security committee’s founding members include Jerry Huang, founder of Silicon Valley Center of Robotics; Shivani Phull, a director at HashPoint Advisory; and Clara Cheng, business lead at Thrive Horizon Ltd.

The first proposal is an initial assessment for Phase 1 of the ROBO governance system, and the foundation said the community can view and participate in voting through the official Snapshot space.
