据金十数据报道，伊拉克内阁声明称，伊拉克内阁已批准巴士拉石油公司与由美国公司Capital TI、雪佛龙和卡塔尔UCC能源组成的财团签署初步协议和保密协议，以研究战略石油出口管道项目。
该财团将编制技术与财务可行性研究报告，对拟议管道路线进行比较，包括“巴士拉-哈迪萨-基尔库克-杰伊汉”路线和“巴士拉-哈迪萨-巴尼亚斯”路线。
