Co-hosts Canada were eliminated from the 2026 World Cup after a 3-0 loss to Morocco in Houston, with Azzedine Ounahi scoring twice in the second half and Soufiane Rahimi adding a late third, according to Yahoo Sports. Ounahi opened the scoring five minutes after halftime from Achraf Hakimi’s cut-back free kick and made it 2-0 on a breakaway with eight minutes left before Rahimi slid in a stoppage-time finish past Maxime Crepeau. Morocco will face Paraguay or France in the quarterfinals on Thursday, 9 July in Boston.
