U.S. President Donald Trump said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had requested a meeting with him at the White House, and the meeting could take place as early as next week after Trump finishes his NATO summit trip.
According to Jin10, a statement issued by the Israeli prime minister’s office on July 3 said Netanyahu and Trump spoke by phone and agreed to meet in the United States in the near future.
Trump also said the United States and Iran had decided to pause negotiations for one week before activities related to the funeral of Iran’s late supreme leader Ali Khamenei conclude, and that neither side would open fire during the pause.
