Polls Say American Pride Depends on How You Ask

An NPR/PBS/Marist poll conducted between June 8th and 11th of 1,340 adults found Americans remain broadly proud of their country, but views on patriotism, the nation’s future and trust in government are increasingly split along partisan lines, even as overall national pride has changed little over time, according to Bloomberg.

Ashley Connan of Rutgers’ Eagleton Center for Public Interest and Puck News writer Abby Livingston discussed the poll data on Bloomberg This Weekend with hosts David Gura and Christina Ruffini.
