Iran’s Intelligence Ministry said security forces recently dismantled four hideouts belonging to what it described as “terrorist and extremist organizations” linked to U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies.
According to Jin10, the ministry said it worked with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the national police to carry out multiple operations in locations including Zahedan in Sistan and Baluchestan Province. The statement said authorities arrested five key members of an operational team and killed two armed individuals.
The statement also said security forces found and dismantled another five-person operational team at two sites in the province. It said the group was suspected of involvement in attacks targeting military units and judicial institutions, and that those involved had been arrested.
Iran said searches led to the seizure of a large quantity of firearms, multiple grenades, four radio devices, one Starlink satellite communications device, and a large amount of ammunition.
The statement said the individuals had previously received military and explosives-use training abroad and had planned to enter Iran to carry out sabotage, assassinations, and terrorist activities. It added that they were detained before taking action and that their organizational network had been dismantled.
