Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is set to miss France’s World Cup 2026 Round of 16 match against Paraguay because of a recurrence of a thigh muscle injury, according to Yahoo Sports. The report said Tchouameni is expected to be out for a week; he previously missed France’s group-stage game against Iraq, when Didier Deschamps replaced him with Manu Kone, and his availability for a potential quarter-final is also in doubt.
