A North Carolina woman’s individual retirement account (IRA) at Truist temporarily displayed a balance of $220 billion due to a system glitch.
According to NS3.AI, Truist said the incorrect balance was the result of an error in account display rather than any real movement of money.
The bank stated that no erroneous transaction occurred and that no funds were lost or transferred as a result of the issue.
