Crossmint has obtained MiCA and payment institution (PSD2) licenses issued by Spain’s National Securities Market Commission, enabling it to operate across European Union countries.
According to Foresight News, the stablecoin infrastructure provider can now serve independently as a stablecoin payments provider for partners in the EU.
The licenses allow Crossmint to operate without needing to work separately with multiple licensed partners.
