An AI-eSIM industry coordination platform initiated by China Mobile—the China Communications Enterprises Association AI-eSIM Professional Committee—was formally established on July 3 at the China Information and Communications Industry Development High-Level Forum, according to Jiemian News. China Mobile IoT Co. will serve as the chair unit, with Tianyi IoT, Unicom Huasheng, Volcano Engine, Tencent Cloud and Guan’an Information among the vice-chair units.
The committee said it brings together more than 40 leading companies across telecom operators, chip design, algorithm research, security services and model applications. On July 4, it held its first member representative meeting and an industry development seminar.
