Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Walid Al-Khuraiji and his delegation paid tribute to Iran’s late supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iranian media reported.
According to Jin10, the report said Khamenei was killed on February 28 during a war launched against Iran by Israel and the United States.
The report said the war triggered Iranian attacks on Gulf countries that host U.S. military bases, including Saudi Arabia.
The conflict killed thousands of people, mainly in Iran and Lebanon.
