Axie Infinity said it will migrate its Land Items to a new smart contract that supports REP-15 to prepare for integration with Terrariums. According to Foresight News, the migration is scheduled to begin on July 7 at 15:00 (UTC+8) and will continue until completion.
During the process, Land Items will remain under the ERC-721 standard. Axie Infinity said listed items will be removed from listings, and active items will be locked while the migration is underway.
The project said Land Item-related trading will be suspended during the migration and will resume after the process is completed, along with normal use.
After the migration, Axie Infinity said it will mint an equal number of items with the same IDs and return them to users’ wallets. The company added that users do not need to take any action and that a separate announcement will be made once the migration is finished.
