TRON’s Nile testnet has enabled a post-quantum signature feature after passing Committee Proposal No. 20628, with FN_DSA_512 now active on the test network. According to ChainCatcher, the update is positioned as a step in testing TRON’s quantum-resistant cryptography capabilities and advancing testnet functionality.
TRON said developers can try the new feature on the Nile testnet and conduct testing and verification based on its post-quantum signature usage guidance.
The project added that the functionality currently applies only to the Nile testnet and has not been launched on the mainnet.
