Bitcoin's volatility on Tuesday signalled that traders were nervous ahead of the release of US inflation data and the Federal Reserve's monetary policy decision. BTC was down 1.64 per cent at around $68,300, while Ethereum and other smaller tokens also fell.
Anand Gomes, co-founder of Paradigm, said that in the cryptocurrency space, no news is bad news. The market is like an addict, constantly needing good news to stay alive. Therefore, when there is no good news, the path of least resistance is lower.
