据《联合早报》报道，法国西南部奥德省及邻近的埃罗省林火蔓延，已烧毁约800公顷土地，当局因强风及不利气象条件疏散约200名居民。火场位于山区且缺乏道路，数百名消防人员于7月2日持续扑救，并出动洒水飞机协助灭火。另一起发生在南部朗松地区的林火已受控。法国气象部门警告下周或再现极端高温；卫生部门估计此前热浪可能已在全国造成约千人死亡。
