Yemi Cardoso, President of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), stated that cryptocurrency regulation is not the responsibility of the Bank of Nigeria, but is assigned to the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The central bank will cooperate with the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission.
