Meta回应印度对WhatsApp用户名功能担忧

据CNBC报道，美国社交媒体巨头Meta Platforms就WhatsApp推出用户名功能回应称，用户仍需手机号才能使用WhatsApp，公司已为用户名加入多层反诈骗防护，包括限制账号可联系的新人数、阻止反复猜测用户名、并通过系统识别和移除冒充或滥用行为。印度政府周三表示该功能可能导致网络犯罪上升，并要求WhatsApp在三天内提交详细说明，否则将依据该国信息技术法规采取行动，同时指示在关切解决前暂停推出。Meta称该功能尚未上线，将在“今年晚些时候”缓慢推出。印度政府数据显示，网络犯罪事件在2024年较2022年翻倍以上，接近230万起；印度拥有逾5亿WhatsApp用户。
