LG Energy Solution-Honda JV Starts Mass Production of ESS Batteries in the US

LG Energy Solution said on Friday that its joint venture with Honda Motor has begun mass production of lithium-ion batteries for energy storage systems (ESS) in the United States. The battery plant, operated by the JV L-H Battery Co. in Jeffersonville, Ohio, started producing ESS batteries on Thursday local time, according to 36Kr.
