Most main futures contracts in China opened higher in early trading, with more gainers than losers. According to Jin10, palladium rose more than 4%.
Lithium carbonate and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) gained more than 3%. Platinum, Shanghai silver, and methanol rose more than 2%, while asphalt and Shanghai gold climbed nearly 2%.
On the downside, alumina and polysilicon fell nearly 2%. Iron ore declined more than 1%, and palm oil slipped nearly 1%.
