Hamburger costs are up 14% from last July 4, according to Wells Fargo.

Robin Wenzel, head of the Wells Fargo Agri-Food Institute, discussed the bank’s BBQ report on Bloomberg Businessweek Daily. The report said a party of 10 is expected to cost an average of $161, with ribs highlighted as a prime protein choice, and pointed to rising food costs for families across the US, Bloomberg reported.
