The industry’s first commercial smart DC power supply project using an SST (solid-state transformer) for a computing power center has been put into operation at Qinhuai Data’s Capital Rim Sangyuan Cloud Computing Industrial Base.
According to Jin10, the project officially began operations on July 2. It was jointly developed by Qinhuai Data, Meituan, Dongyangguang Group, and Delta.
The project introduced an SST 10 kV triangular access mode, removing multiple redundant conversion steps found in traditional power supply chains. It enables a one-step conversion from 10 kV AC grid power to 800 V DC.
