River Bank & Trust said a hacker accessed its network on June 16th and deployed ransomware, as the lender reported total assets exceeding $3.8 billion.
According to NS3.AI, the bank discovered the breach on June 19th and said it is investigating the incident.
The lender is examining whether personal information was accessed or exfiltrated during the intrusion.
