Taylor, Texas sold 87.97 acres of land that had been donated for a future children’s park to a data center developer for $10 million.
According to NS3.AI, the property was originally donated under a 1999 deed stating the land was held in trust for future use as parkland.
The report said the acreage had been intended for a children’s park, but the city proceeded with the sale to the developer.
