The total value of imports and exports via the China-Laos Railway reached 90.28 billion yuan as of June 30, according to Kunming Customs.
According to Jin10, the cumulative number of international freight train services on the route exceeded 22,000 since the railway began operations.
In the first half of this year, the value of imports and exports handled through the China-Laos Railway totaled 17.16 billion yuan, up 33.7% year on year.
Kunming Customs said the railway’s role as a major logistics corridor continued to strengthen, while regional connectivity improved steadily.
