Marc Zeller, founder of the Aave-Chan Initiative (ACI), said he sold his AAVE tokens when he resigned from Chaos Labs, adding that he may still hold only a minimal “dust-level” amount.

According to Odaily, Zeller made the comment in response to a community user asking whether he still held AAVE or had already sold.

In earlier remarks, Zeller announced that ACI had ended operations, concluding more than three years of governance work. He said that during ACI’s participation in governance, the Aave protocol shifted from an annual deficit of about $35 million to annual revenue of about $150 million.

Zeller also said the AAVE token rose by about ninefold over the same period and that an active governance network was established, consisting of core contributors, service providers, and governance delegates.

He added that ACI demonstrated that a DAO governance model can operate effectively and outperform competitors with greater resources. Zeller said he plans to continue advancing new projects, with related information expected to be announced soon.
