China’s cumulative approved investment quota under the Qualified Domestic Institutional Investor (QDII) program totaled $176.17 billion as of the end of June, according to the latest disclosure from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
According to Jin10, the QDII quota approval table showed that securities and fund institutions accounted for $97.28 billion of the cumulative approved quota.
The data also indicated that the most recent QDII quota allocation was issued on March 23.
