Since it first traded in 2011, Bitcoin has returned an average of up to about 104 percent annually, outperforming the returns of Warren Buffett's portfolio and the U.S. stock market. According to the Lazy Portfolio ETF, Warren Buffett's portfolio has achieved a compounded annual growth rate of 10.03 percent over the past 30 years, with a standard deviation of 13.67 percent. By contrast, the U.S. corporate stock portfolio offers roughly the same returns, but with a higher standard deviation. By comparison, Bitcoin has returned an average of up to about 104 percent annually since it first traded in 2011.
