Crypto derivatives traders saw about $450 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, with short positions accounting for $280 million and long positions $171 million.
According to ChainCatcher, the figures were based on Coinglass data.
Bitcoin liquidations included about $27.0 million in long positions and $125 million in short positions. Ethereum liquidations included about $20.1 million in longs and $67.6 million in shorts.
Coinglass data also showed 117,590 traders were liquidated globally over the same 24-hour period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Hyperliquid in the XYZ:CL-USD market, totaling about $9.85 million.
