China Galaxy Securities: 2026 Average Hog Prices May Fall Year on Year

China Galaxy Securities said in a research note that China’s hog prices in 2026 may see an average annual decline from a year earlier, according to 36Kr. The brokerage added that hog prices could rebound at some point during the year depending on changes in the impact of winter diseases. China Galaxy Securities recommended investors focus on leading hog producers with strong cost controls, relatively healthy funding conditions, and reasonable valuations.
