Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said the country’s overall supply of gasoline and diesel was sufficient, despite shortages and disruptions at some individual fuel stations.
According to Jin10, Novak said on July 1 that the isolated shortages were mainly linked to changes in fuel supply logistics.
He added that fuel price increases were concentrated mainly at privately owned fuel stations. Novak described the situation as normal market conditions and said prices should stabilize as the market becomes saturated.
