A new Ethereum-focused nonprofit, Ethereum Institutional, has been established to serve as an institutional entry point for the Ethereum ecosystem and to connect large global financial institutions with the Ethereum network.
According to Foresight News, the organization said it will focus on supporting institutional adoption of on-chain financial infrastructure.
Ethereum Institutional said its core objective is to help financial institutions connect with the Ethereum ecosystem during a period when institutions are accelerating efforts around tokenized assets, stablecoins, and on-chain market infrastructure.
It added that it aims to support institutions across the process from evaluation and testing through large-scale deployment.
