Kazakhstan Central Bank Sold $680 Million in FX in June to Offset Gold Purchases

Kazakhstan’s central bank said it sold foreign currency worth 354 billion tenge in June to offset its gold-buying operations. According to Jin10, the central bank also said it plans to sell foreign currency worth 1.1 trillion tenge in the third quarter.
