Credit Agricole has launched EURXT, a euro-backed stablecoin, with 20.02 million tokens reported in circulation at launch. According to NS3.AI, CACEIS issued EURXT on Ethereum for institutional investors and corporate clients.
The report said the first subscription used EURXT for a tokenized Amundi Money Market Fund.
It also noted that EMT approval for EURXT was not found on the ESMA register, which was shown as last updated on June 26.
