Three people were crushed to death in Mexico City after about a million fans celebrated Mexico’s qualification for the World Cup last 16, according to Yahoo Sports. Mexico beat Ecuador 2-0 at the Estadio Azteca on Tuesday night with goals from Julian Quinones and Raul Jimenez, and the Mexico City public health secretary said a 44-year-old man, a 19-year-old woman and a 48-year-old woman died from asphyxiation near Paseo de la Reforma.
