South Korea’s Financial Services Commission (FSC) has referred two individuals to prosecutors over suspected cryptocurrency market manipulation.
According to NS3.AI, one suspect allegedly used tens of billions of Korean won over roughly two months to control nearly half of a token’s circulating supply.
The FSC warned investors to be cautious about virtual assets that show unexplained spikes in price and trading volume.
