Fuwei Co. said it expected its net profit for the first half of 2026 to rise 50.02% to 70.27% year on year.
According to Jin10, the company estimated first-half net profit at 3.69 billion yuan to 4.18 billion yuan. It also projected net profit excluding non-recurring items at 3.62 billion yuan to 4.09 billion yuan, up 44.49% to 63.54% from a year earlier.
Fuwei Co. expected basic earnings per share of 0.39 yuan to 0.44 yuan.
The company attributed the anticipated profit growth to steady operations in its home textiles core business and changes in the supply-demand balance for VC, an electrolyte additive. It said higher selling prices for its VC products lifted its gross margin.
