9 Air said it will cut fuel surcharges on domestic routes for tickets issued from July 5, 2026. According to Jin10, the carrier will charge CNY 100 per passenger on routes longer than 800 kilometers and CNY 50 per passenger on routes of 800 kilometers or less.
The new levels are CNY 50 and CNY 30 lower, respectively, than before the adjustment. The report said domestic fuel surcharges were raised sharply in April and May, then reduced by CNY 20 and CNY 10 starting June 5. With fuel prices declining, the reduction in July is larger.
