Monarch founder Anton Cheng said he has joined decentralized lending protocol Morpho full time as a solutions engineer responsible for Asia-Pacific business.
According to Foresight News, Cheng said he has followed Morpho since the protocol launched in 2023 and has spent more than two years building Monarch, a product based on Morpho.
Cheng said that after joining Morpho, he will continue maintaining the Monarch project in his personal time and will gradually hand it over over the coming months to other developers in the Morpho ecosystem.
He added that the transition is intended to keep Monarch operating as an independent platform.
