Bitcoin Core long-term contributor and BIP maintainer Jon Atack warned users to avoid sending Bitcoin transactions during the second week of August until a potential chain reorganization risk subsides.
According to ChainCatcher, Atack said he will monitor the situation by running both Bitcoin Core and Knots version 110 in parallel, and will isolate his Bitcoin holdings.
He also commented on increasingly polarized debates within the Bitcoin community, saying independent thinking and choosing one’s own priorities requires more courage and can be a better way to address complex issues.
