European Central Bank Governing Council member De Marco said falling energy prices should quickly feed through to lower inflation expectations and ease pressure from rising wages.

According to Jin10, De Marco said the decline in energy prices should be transmitted rapidly into a pullback in inflation expectations, which in turn should help reduce pressure linked to wage increases.
