Sivers Semiconductors (SIVE) has completed a 700 million Swedish krona capital increase financing round, according to a post on X by Serenity.

According to Odaily, Serenity said the round was subscribed by multiple times and the company slightly increased the size from its original plan. Serenity said the proceeds will mainly be used to expand production capacity for indium phosphide (InP) lasers and optical amplifiers, and to support capacity ramp-up under a fab-light model.

Serenity said the financing may indicate SIVE has reached a key inflection point for scaling. Serenity added that the financing price was 57 Swedish krona per share, while the current share price is about 63 Swedish krona, which Serenity said is close to the market price and could help provide price support.

Serenity also said institutional participation could reduce balance sheet risk and provide funding support for SIVE’s transition to a high-volume manufacturing stage.
