China Sets Yuan Midpoint at 6.8067 per Dollar

China’s interbank foreign exchange market set the yuan’s central parity rate at 6.8067 per U.S. dollar on July 1, 2026, down 42 points from the previous fixing, indicating yuan appreciation.

According to Jin10, the euro/yuan midpoint was set at 7.7574, down 97 points; the Hong Kong dollar/yuan at 0.86784, down 7.1 points; and the pound/yuan at 9.0076, down 69 points.

The Australian dollar/yuan midpoint was set at 4.6987, up 183 points, while the Canadian dollar/yuan was set at 4.7842, down 5 points. The 100 Japanese yen/yuan midpoint was set at 4.1835, down 210 points.

The yuan/Russian ruble midpoint was set at 11.5913, up 2,620 points. The New Zealand dollar/yuan was set at 3.8566, up 152 points, and the yuan/Malaysian ringgit was set at 0.60022, up 26.4 points.

The Swiss franc/yuan midpoint was set at 8.4088, down 140 points, and the Singapore dollar/yuan was set at 5.2528, down 77 points.
