U.S. Stocks Rise as Jobs Data Shows Steady Labor Demand; Iran-U.S. Doha Talks Watched

U.S. stocks closed higher after the latest U.S. employment data pointed to steady labor demand, while markets also watched a new round of Iran-U.S. peace talks in Doha, according to Ming Pao.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 136 points, or 0.27%, to 52,319. The S&P 500 gained 58 points, or 0.8%, to 7,499. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 393 points, or 1.53%, to 26,213.

The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index added 0.64% to 5,847.
